I paid my reservation deposit last August to VW for a 2021 ID4. Then last month and a couple weeks before it was scheduled to arrive at the dealership I went in to work out a lease. I was shocked to learn they added $7,500 markup to the MSRP and added another $2,200 in dealership add ons I neither ordered nor wanted. I walked out and canceled my reservation.
