Berkeley Ford

Description: All new Super Duty trucks on their lot have dealer markups. The markups vary but are between $10,000 and $15,000. The supplemental sticker added to the vehicles are handwritten and show markup price only. When you go to the dealer website and view the vehicles you see the substantial difference between the inflated advertised price and the MSRP on the window sticker. We went to the dealership and spoke with a sales person about the Super Duty's on their lot. They justified the markup as "supply and demand" and stated that Ford Corporate has reduced dealerships ability to make profits. When we asked about ordering online we were told we would still pay a markup. We have been a Ford family for 25+ years but allowed practices such as these sour our opinion on the brand.
