Description: Car Pros Kia in Moreno Valley has two new EV9 EVs in their inventories. Both wear $5k markups. They're not alone though. Every Car Pros Kia dealership in Southern California has EV9s in stock. So far its 17 EV9s across 3 dealerships. EVERY SINGLE ONE HAS A $4,995 MARKUP. Even worse, some of their locations are advertising the markup minus Kia's recent rebate of $3,750 (EV sales are slow right now. That's why a brand new model already has a near $4k rebate.) making it seem like you're getting a deal. Don't give these people your business by getting enticed by a shiny new car you just have to have now. Wait it out. Like I said, EV sales have slowed; they'll come off the markup when they realize these things have been sitting for a few months. And because EV sales have slowed, their values are tanking. You don't wanna drop $70k+ on a new EV and end up upside down a year or two later because its worth $40k.

Description: Was interested in a 2022 Hyundai Elantra N from this dealer. They have my contact info so they let me know they had one coming in. Weirdly asked me what I was thinking price wise. MSRP is about $34,500 or so. I said $36-37k OTD. Dealer came back with saying the price is $34,860 + a $5,000 markup + another $1485 in dealer installed options I was told they would NOT remove. I was told the markup was negotiable but that depended on me coming in. I didn't respond because I'm not paying for what amounts to be their bonus. Apparently though someone didn't have a problem paying it as the car isn't listen on the dealers site anymore.
