On August 11th 2022, my order for an F150 pro was accepted by the dealer at MSRP, with $0 difference from MSRP indicated in the order summary. Months later when the vehicle was delivered in February, the Sales Manager informed me that I would be paying approximately 7k over MSRP upon arrival at the dealership. I indicated that was not in the original order, when I placed my deposit. As reported to me at the time of ordering, my order was supposed to be offered to me at 2022 pricing. This offer was extended to anyone who had ordered before August 12th, as there was a price increase imminent on the vehicles. As there was later additional increases, there was also rebate that the dealer was supposed to receive from Ford to help offset the difference when it was sold to me at the discounted price. Thus the dealer would still receive roughly the same amount of money as if I paid the 2023 price for the vehicle even though it was supposed to be offered to me at the lower 2022 price. When I pointed out this, the Sales manager claimed no knowledge of the situation. However, he later reveled he was fully aware of the pricing situation and the rebate, but claimed that Ford does not actually do that. After a two weeks of back and forth emails and contacting Ford customer service, I decided I did not want to conduct business with a Sales Manger who was seemingly being dishonest from the get-go. I recommend working with a different dealer if you have any interest in ordering a vehicle with Dana Ford.
